Founded in 1977, we boast a membership of 1400 in more than 38 chapters nationwide. We provide programming that cultivates industry professionals to become a greater resource for their companies and communities.

The AABE National Conference provides an impactful forum for more than 650 energy professionals. COVID-19 Policy

AABE will comply with all recommendations and guidance concerning COVID-19 as set by state, county, or local authorities and as directed by the management of the Marriott Marquis Houston. AABE will also strongly urge all participants and attendees at the 2023 National Conference to comply with CDC recommendations.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations may be canceled with a refund minus a $75 processing fee until March 31, 2023. No refunds after March 31, 2023. Note: Any registrant who registers as a member and doesn't have an active membership will not be allowed access to conference events until membership dues are paid. Build Back Better: "Energized for Success: It's Time!"
The Administration's infrastructure legislation continues to be at the forefront of the energy sector and related policy initiatives. Congress's recent infrastructure bills put forth multiple initiatives to mitigate the effects of years of declining infrastructure. This legislation has a transformative impact on the industry. This panel will explore if those bills are enough to effectively achieve the ambitious equity goals while supporting a just transition.

Clarke A. Watson Chairman's Reception at STAMPEDE HOUSTON

The Chairman's Cup was established in 1993 in recognition of outstanding service by an AABE member or staff person selected by the Chair as one who has distinguished themselves to the organization in promoting its growth and vitality and enhancing its mission as a resource for energy policymaking. The award was renamed the Clarke A. Watson Chairman's Cup in 2004 in recognition of our Founder, who was always on hand to remind us of our mission and the importance of the organization's work. Registration before the conference is required.
